Extreme temperatures, short-distance driving, parking for a long period of time - all of these things are destructive for your car's battery. With AVACOM smart chargers, you can still keep your battery running smoothly.
The charger is equipped with a smart chip that has memory function. After charging, the charger returns to the mode that was last set.
When connected, the charger is able to recognize if a battery is damaged or if the positive and negative terminals are incorrectly connected. In this case, the charger does not start charging the battery, but the LED indicator will light up.
This mode is designed to resuscitate a deeply discharged battery. The charger automatically detects that the battery is deeply discharged and begins charging it at a lower current. Once the battery reaches normal voltage, the charger continues charging in the standard way. The maximum regeneration time is 20 minutes. If the corresponding voltage is not detected during this time period, the charger interrupts charging, and the LED light indicator will signal that the battery is damaged.
In the process of automatic desulphurisation, the charger first detects the battery status. If the battery has characteristics typical of sulphation, it triggers a process of rapid voltage changes called "pulsations," during which the charger removes crystals of lead sulphate from the electrodes.
AVACOM LLC has been operating within the Czech market since 1997 and is one of the largest suppliers of batteries for notebooks, digital cameras, tablets, cameras, mobile phones, navigation systems, other portable devices, and backup sources.
