SiO2-based ceramic coatings use silicon dioxide (silica), the main component of glass. This compound is able to form super-strong chemical bonds with the top layer of paint or clear coat, creating an extremely hard barrier that is not only resistant to moisture, grime, chemicals and environmental contamination, but also very difficult to remove by any means other than abrasion, making it exceptionally durable. 

Protection and correction of microscopic paint defects

On a molecular level, the bonded SiO2 layer smooths out microscopic pits in the paintwork or vinyl and hardens to leave a perfectly level, hydrophobic barrier that is completely smooth and does not allow water, dirt or other foreign molecules to stick. Thanks to these advanced properties, water simply runs off the surface in beads and particles cannot take hold. This also prevents potentially harmful contaminants from penetrating the paint or clear coat layers, thereby protecting against corrosion and oxidation. Instead, any surface contaminants will either slide off or simply sit on top of the ceramic layer, unable to penetrate or bond, making the vehicle significantly easier to clean on the next wash.

Instructions for use:
Ensure the vehicle is clean and dry before application. Spray a fine mist onto approximately half a panel at a time. Spread with a clean microfibre cloth. Buff to a high gloss.
