The Auraton Apus SET wireless kit for smart heating control includes an Auraton Apus R programmable room thermostat and a thermostatic head for mounting on a radiator with an M30×1.5 or Danfoss RA-N thread (adaptor included). Using the daily thermostat, which serves as the main control unit and a precise temperature sensor, you can easily set a target temperature from 5 to 30°C (with an accuracy of ±0.5°C). The thermostat also offers a night-time temperature setback function, which automatically lowers the programmed temperature by 3°C for 6 hours at the same time every day. The device uses two temperature sensors simultaneously (in the head and the thermostat itself), which provide precise data to control the valve motor in the head (in 100 steps). The Apus R thermostat stands out for its very quiet operation and is equipped with a backlit LCD display that is easy to read even in low light. It also includes a FrostGuard function, which protects the room and heating system from freezing in the event of a sudden drop in temperature.

The wireless thermostatic head ensures precise temperature control
The Auraton Apus thermostatic head connects wirelessly to the thermostat at a distance of up to 30 metres (in enclosed spaces), receiving information about the current room temperature and the set temperature. The integrated motor then smoothly regulates the fan output in 100 fine steps, enabling the target temperature to be reached quickly. The calibration function ensures completely precise control of the water flow in the radiator by automatically measuring the total range (stroke) of the specific valve immediately after the head is installed. In addition, the head fully opens and closes the valve once a week to prevent it from seizing up.
Connect multiple radiators to the Auraton Apus R thermostat simultaneously
With a single Auraton Apus R thermostat, you can control any number of radiators with thermostatic heads. The more heads you connect to the thermostat, the faster and more efficiently the radiators can react to temperature changes in the room. If a head loses connection with the thermostat, it will maintain the last set temperature. Heating efficiency is increased by advanced PWM automatic control, which minimises temperature fluctuations and ensures maximum thermal comfort.
