Three assassins - one goal
In Chronicles, you get to play three members of the assassin order, each one from different historical period. In the first part of the story, the game takes you to China in the role of Shao Jun, whom you might remember from the Embers story as the ward of the legendary assassin Ezio Auditore. Next, you'll travel to 19th century India, where, in the role of Arbaaz Mire, you will try to stop a templar master. Your last destination will be Russia during the last years of the First World War. There, in the role of Nikolai Orelov, your mission will be to break into the Tsar's palace and steal a valuable artefact.
Open world
Same as in any other game of the series, it is completely up to you how you choose to complete your mission. The open world of the game allows you to both move in sight and to sneak through secter passages. Depending on whether you choose to discover hidden tunnels or to use your surroundings to become invisible to your enemies, you will always experience a slightly different gameplay.

Three different combat styles
Each of the three assassins has a unique set of combat skills, equipment and weapons, which also means that playing each one will feel a bit different. While Shao Jun relies mostly on the agility that she learned to master from her mentor, Nikolai Orelov prefers to rely on firearms and Arbaaz Mir's combat style follows from the Indian fighting tradition.
