DVB-T

Unlike analog, DVB-T broadcasts in real-time, streaming and compressing simultaneously (normally using MPEG-2 or the superior MPEG-4 technology), allowing far better utilization of the frequency spectrum. Practically, this means that one channel instead of a TV station transmits the so-called multiplex, which may include several television stations, radio stations and services such as EPG (Electronic Program Guide) and superteletext.
