The Aquaphor Crystal H filter provides deep treatment for water of medium hardness. It purifies water, making it suitable for drinking and cooking, while also slightly softening hard water. It cleans water of various impurities such as chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, allergens, petroleum products and other common toxins. It contains 3 CarbFiber block modules, which are made using the patented Aqualen ion-exchange fibre. This makes the contact area between the water and the sorbents 45 times higher than in granulated carbon filters, and the filtration speed is 4 times higher. The KH softening cartridge contains an ion-exchange resin, which can be regenerated multiple times using salt.

The three filter cartridges remove impurities down to 0.8 microns in size. The K3 cartridge retains particles in the water down to 5 microns, while the KH cartridge eliminates limescale. The final K7 cartridge removes particles down to 0.8 microns. The Aquaphor Crystal H filter tackles harmful substances commonly found in water, such as chlorine, organic compounds, pesticides, lead and heavy metals, as well as unpleasant odours.
