Performance and protection
The line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) actively corrects fluctuations in the electrical network without the UPS switching to battery power. This saves battery capacity for actual outages. The lead-acid battery inside the unit provides protection against deep discharge and supports a cold-start function to start from the battery without mains power. The battery module is also user-replaceable while in operation, which simplifies maintenance without needing to shut down connected devices. The UPS supplies a real power of 500W and an apparent power of 750VA to power sensitive electronics. Comprehensive surge protection prevents damage to connected devices from voltage spikes and also protects the connected data line.
Remote management and automation
A key feature is the integrated APC SmartConnect port, which enables remote status monitoring via a secure cloud portal. This gives you access to diagnostics, notifications, and firmware updates. The PowerChute Network Shutdown software performs an automatic and graceful shutdown of physical servers and virtual machines. The expansion SmartSlot allows for the installation of an optional network card for advanced management within a corporate network.

Input power is connected via a standard IEC C14 connector. To power your equipment, the UPS has four IEC C13 outlets and two IEC Jumper connectors, all of which are fully backed up by the power supply. For local management, it includes a USB communication interface and an RS-232 serial port.
