APC Easy UPS On-Line SRV RM 1000VA 900 W 230 V with Rail Kit

The APC Easy UPS On-Line SRV RM 1000VA is a double-conversion on-line UPS designed to power servers and critical IT infrastructure in rack cabinets. It delivers an apparent power of 1000VA and a real power of 900W. It operates with 89.9% efficiency at full load and 87.1% at half load. The high-capacity internal battery provides a backup time of up to 3.2 minutes at full load and 9.85 minutes at half load. To protect sensitive electronics, it generates a pure sine wave output and an uninterruptible power supply. This 2U rack-mount version comes with an included Rail Kit for easy installation.

Topology and performance

The on-line double-conversion topology ensures a constant power supply without any interruption when switching to battery. This power processing method isolates connected devices from all disturbances on the mains network. The UPS efficiency reaches 89.9% at full load and 87.1% at half load. Thanks to the high-capacity internal battery, it offers a backup time of 3.2 minutes at a full load of 900W and 9.85 minutes at half load.

Battery and protection

Inside is a 24V internal lead-acid battery, which can be easily replaced using the APCRBCV200 replacement cartridge. The battery takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge. Protective features include surge protection with an energy absorption of 945J. To ensure continuity of operation even during maintenance or internal failure, an automatic and manual bypass powers the load directly from the mains.

Management and software

A USB port and a smart-card slot are used for monitoring and management. Installing a card adds the option of remote monitoring and control of the UPS over the network. The device supports connection to the EcoStruxure IT platform and other centralised systems. The clear multi-function LCD display shows real-time status and control information, which simplifies local operation. An IEC C14 input connector is used for connecting to the mains. Three IEC C13 output sockets are available to power connected servers and other network elements.
