By being able to set the correct height, you won't be unnecessarily hunched over the desk, and at the same time, you can stretch your back, neck, and the muscles of your entire body while you work. Regularly alternating between sitting and standing also promotes natural movement and better blood circulation, which the body will appreciate during long hours at the desk. Although most of us sit while working, the ability to easily change your working position brings significantly greater comfort throughout the day.
Including Tabletop
The AlzaErgo Table ET1 Essential height-adjustable desk comes with an AlzaErgo tabletop in a chestnut decor measuring 140 × 80 × 1.8cm. The top is made of high-quality E1 class chipboard, and its edges are protected by PVC strips, which contributes to its long lifespan and higher resistance during daily use. The surface is resistant to impacts, scratches, abrasion, and stains, and at the same time is very easy to maintain—it can be cleaned with common cleaning agents without worry. The top is not pre-drilled, but screws are included in the package, and you can handle the assembly with common tools (e.g., a screwdriver, a tape measure, and possibly a cordless drill for pre-drilling the holes).

Their noise level does not exceed 60dB, so they won't unnecessarily disturb you while you work. Simply press the desired button on the control panel, and the desk will automatically adjust to the required height. An essential safety feature is the anti-collision system with adjustable sensitivity in 8 levels, which helps prevent accidents and damage to equipment. The detection sensitivity can also be set separately for upward and downward movement, so you can easily adapt the desk's behaviour to your needs and the surrounding space.
