The Alpinestars S-M5 COMPASS motorcycle helmet in size XXL is designed for cross and enduro riders with a head circumference of 63–64 cm. The injected thermoplastic shell, combined with a multi-panel EPS core of five different densities, ensures a high level of protection. A sophisticated ventilation system provides effective air exchange while riding. Safety is also enhanced by the ERS emergency release system for the cheek pads and a double D-ring fastening.

Advanced construction for your safety

The shell is made from a specially developed injected thermoplastic that resists impacts. The core consists of a multi-panel EPS liner with five different densities. This design effectively absorbs impact energy, with each zone reacting optimally to the force of the blow. For emergencies, the helmet is equipped with an ERS emergency quick-release cheek pad system, which makes it easier for rescuers to remove the helmet without unintentionally moving the injured rider's head and cervical spine.

Ventilation and comfortable interior

The inner lining is fully removable and washable, which makes maintenance and hygiene easy. The hypoallergenic fabric with an antibacterial Silverplus® treatment limits odours and maintains freshness even during prolonged wear. A sophisticated ventilation system includes several intake and exhaust ports, ensuring a high degree of airflow and cooling the head even during demanding rides. The helmet also has a side channel for a hydration pack hose, so you can rehydrate without stopping.

Functional features of the S-M5 COMPASS helmet

The Alpinestars S-M5 COMPASS helmet features a patented quick-release peak mechanism. This enables easy removal or replacement without tools and also ensures that it releases itself at the correct angle upon impact, minimising the risk of injury. A secure fit is provided by the double D-ring fastening with a 26mm wide strap. The helmet meets ECE 22.05 homologation, confirming its compliance with European safety standards.
