The Alpinestars S-M3 FRAY kids' helmet is designed for motocross, enduro and off-road riding. Its thermoplastic shell meets the strict ECE 22.06 homologation and also passes Alpinestars' own, even more stringent, chin guard durability tests. The helmet adapts to a growing child's head thanks to the interchangeable inner lining. A ventilation system and a fully removable, washable interior ensure comfort.

Advanced safety construction

The helmet's shell is made from thermoplastic, which provides protection while keeping the weight low. The helmet meets the European ECE 22.06 homologation. In addition, Alpinestars applies its own durability testing standard for the chin guard, which exceeds the requirements of the norm. Inside, a multi-panel EPS core with varying material densities is designed to effectively absorb impact energy. For emergencies, the helmet is equipped with the ERS safety system, which enables rescuers to quickly and safely remove the cheek pads.

Grows with your child

The S-M3 FRAY helmet is designed to adapt to a growing child's head. Thanks to the interchangeable inner lining, there is no need to buy a new helmet every season. The construction uses three shell sizes and six inner EPS core sizes to ensure an optimal fit. A ventilation system with ten intake and seven exhaust ports provides thermal comfort by efficiently dissipating heat. The inner lining is fully removable, washable and made from hypoallergenic materials.

Practical features for off-road riding

When riding off-road, you will appreciate the patented quick-release mechanism for the peak. This lets it release easily in the event of an impact from any angle, reducing the risk of injury. The helmet is also ready for a hydration pack hose, making it easier to stay hydrated on longer rides without stopping. A secure and firm fit is ensured by the double D-ring fastening system made from stainless steel, which is threaded through a wide 25mm polyester strap.
