ALLTEST Streptococcus A rapid throat swab test 1 pcs
This test is a rapid immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of group A streptococcal antigens from throat swab samples to aid in the diagnosis of group A streptococcal infection. Without using the device. Designed for self-testing. For in vitro diagnostics only.

When can the Strep A test be used?
The test can be used for symptoms, such as pain on swallowing, sore throat, red and swollen tonsils, sometimes with a white coating or pus, small red spots on the back of the palate (soft or hard), swollen lymph nodes, fever, headache, nausea or vomiting, especially in children. If the test result is negative but symptoms persist, you may not have a Strep A infection. However, you should consult your doctor. If your test result is positive, it means that antigens that cause streptococcus A infection have been found in your sample and you probably have streptococcus A infection.
The principle of the test
The Strep A test is an immunochromatographic test that detects the presence of specific Strep A antigens due to the gold-conjugated antibodies contained in the test strip. Designed for qualitative detection of group A streptococcus antigens from throat swab samples with results in 5 min.
