AKAI returns to its traditional products with a modern turntable in an elegant wooden design with an optional sampling frequency of 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz. The AKAI Pro BT-500 Black is equipped with a belt drive, a cast aluminium platter with an anti-resonant non-slip mat, a light tonearm with high shock absorption and an integrated phono pre-amp for use with powered loudspeakers.
