The Air Cleaner masterSteril 380 air purifier works on the principle of ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI), which uses short-wave UV-C radiation . This radiation disrupts the DNA/RNA of microorganisms and limits their ability to reproduce further. Optimal disinfection efficiency is achieved in the range of approximately 250–270 nm, where UV-C has the highest sterilization effect. By enclosing the lamp in a disinfection chamber, the technology is safe and usable even during normal operation.
