Vitamin K2 is a fat-soluble vitamin that bacteria in the human body cannot produce in sufficient quantities, yet it plays an important role in metabolism (the conversion of substances in the body) and bone mineralisation (the supply of bone, for example, with calcium).
Vitamin K2 contributes to
- preventing osteoporosis (thinning of bones), increasing the risk of fractures and improving bone health
