Two Frequencies for Undisturbed Transmission
If multiple electronic wireless devices, including those of your neighbor, work at the same 2.4GHz frequency, the signals interfere with each other. This leads to reduced stability of the connection and decrease of transmission speeds. However, the 5GHz frequency is much less common and is therefore suitable for expanding the existing network, especially for wireless streaming of videos or transmitting larger volumes of data.
