This motion detection-capable, smartphone-controlled IP camera lets you see everything happening in its designated monitoring area, wherever you may be. The Zyxel AURORA comes with a Sony image sensor and high-quality f/2 lens to capture high-definition colour images, even in poor lighting conditions. For total darkness, the camera also comes equipped with a night vision mode. With its extra-wide, 145° viewing angle, this camera gives you both convenience and flexibility.

Intelligent Motion Detection

The Zyxel AURORA's intelligent motion detection informs you as soon as something happens, so you won't miss a thing. You can be instantly alerted via smartphone: three snapshots are delivered and, of course, the camera will start recording with footage saved in cloud storage. The camera starts within 1 second of motion and continues recording for another 30 seconds. Set up different zones to customise what you want to capture with the AURORA - and also suppress false alarms (e.g., when a curtain moves).

Designed to Perform Anywhere

The camera is designed for ease of use in a range of different locations. Simply place the camera stand in a vertical position and hold the magnet against a metal object, or remove the camera from its stand and lay it down. The camera is powered by a USB type-C port, which is supplied with an adapter but can also be powered by a variety of adapters or even a power bank. A PoE module is also a possible means of powering the camera - which means you can place it in remote locations out of WiFi signal range without having to use power from an ordinary supply. 

Its Own Cloud Storage

Using just an internet connection, the camera is able to store its recordings in its very own cloud storage. The product comes with 16GB of free storage for continuous recording of events as well as backward tracking of what has been happening in the designated area. You can access this recording anywhere you go, simply by signing into your myZyxelCloud account. If you require more storage capacity, you do not need to pay monthly for online cloud services - you can use your own Zyxel Personal Cloud Storage NAS device as a 24-hour recording centre, 7 days a week.
