The Auto MDI/MDI-X feature eliminates the need to use crossover cables to connect to another switch or hub and the Auto-negotiation function detects the speed of your network device and accordingly adjusts the characteristics to ensure optimal operation. Other great features of this device include inactive line detection or cable length detection.
