Zyxel ES1100-16P

This affordable, energy-efficient, easy-to-configure PoE switch from Zyxel is designed for 19" racks and is ideal for small businesses and small-group networks. It provides improved connectivity and increases network bandwidth, so users will no longer have to compete for use of their current bandwidth. Its 8 ports support PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology, but the end-to-end network elements on these connected ports can also be powered through a conventional UTP cable. The switch detects the load on the network, the inactive line and the length of the cable to dynamically regulate power consumption according to conditions at a given time. PoE power can of course also temporarily be turned off by disconnecting the device. The switch operates quietly and can be used on a 19" rack.
