Zyxe PoE-12

The ZyXEL PoE-12 Single Port PoE (Power over Ethernet) mixer delivers an electrical current through the unused pairs (4/5 and 7/8) in CAT-5 Ethernet cable. Because data is transmitted through the other pairs, both power and data can be transmitted to PoE devices through a single CAT-5 Ethernet cable. There is no need for an additional power supply, which would just be an obstruction.
When installing equipment that complies with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE802.3AT standards (such as a WLAN access point or IP camera) you have much more options and flexibility.PoE-12 facilitates connectivity in difficult to reach places such as ceilings or high walls, up to 100 meters without the need to run specific power cables.The unit requires no complicated configuration, simply connect the input and output cables. Installation is very easy and requires no expertise and additional costs. The device also offers excellent protection against surges and short circuits.
