The Zalman CNPS8X Optima processor cooler has specially shaped aluminum fins to provide a highly efficient heat dissipation from the three integrated heatpipe tubes. A further 100mm Shark Fin Blade fan with PWM speed control is provided for further heat dissipation from aluminum ribbing. Its optimised shape of the blades effectively reduces turbulence. At the base, highly efficient direct-contact heatpipes are integrated to transport the heat of the processor with noticeably higher efficiency.
