Through the network, it supports high-resolution DSD playback of 5.6 MHz, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF up to 192 kHz / 24 bits, or Apple Lossless with 96 kHz / 24 bits. The WXC-50 is compatible with a host of popular streaming services so you can find songs of all styles. With Spotify, Tidal and Deezer, Napster, Qobuz, Juke and others, you can enjoy music from all over the world and listen to your favourite artists.

MusicCast collaborates with other Multiroom components

If you really love music, the YAMAHA WXC-50 network player opens new listening dimensions. With MusicCast integration, it becomes part of the Multiroom environment. This means that it connects with other Multiroom components such as portable speakers, soundbars and small HiFi systems. Consequently, you can control all Multiroom elements from one place (MusicCAST CONTROLLER for iOS and Android) to play music in all rooms at the same time or differently in each room.
