If you don't want to or simply can't install rear speakers, the Virtual CINEMA DSP will make a realistic surround effect even with just 2 speakers. The Virtual CINEMA FRONT will then virtually set aside 5 speakers, even if they are all stacked up front.
This device supports the latest HDMI standards, including the transmission of 4K video at 60 frames per second (only pass-through). It fully understands HDCP 2.2, which is the latest standard for copyright protection. It also manages the wider BT.2020 (pass-through) colour gamut and, of course, 3D video signal. The Back Audio (HDMI ARC) makes it easy to connect the YAMAHA RX-V383 with your TV through on a single HDMI cable, through which the sound from the TV passes on to the receiver.
