The Yamaha R-N500 network Hi-Fi receiver can reproduce music from a wide variety of sources. It uses the RJ-45 port, you can incorporate it easily into your home network and you will be able to directly play music files from your PC or NAS storage.There's even a free downloadable network player controller application for iOS and Android That allows you to browse your music library, view song information and use network streaming. The receiver is also fully compatible with AirPlay for wireless music playback from your Mac, iPod, iPhone, or iPad.
For media players, game consoles and other similar devices there are two digital optical and coaxial inputs. For playback from portable flash drives, there is a front USB port which is also capable of direct digital connection and playback from your iPod, iPhone and iPad. All the top decoders have the maximum sampling rate of 192 kHz/24 bit playback and a lossless FLAC and WAV formats .
The basis is perfectly debugged design, with minimal signal paths and independent sources for analogue and digital parts. The chassis is precisely shielded from ambient noise and adjusted to minimize vibrations.The direct function is also available for bridging any needless signal processing, as well as loudness for a full listening experience at low volume levels.
