The string is made of special, ecological material - polymerized lactic acid. In addition to biodegradability, the additional bonus of these strings is that they can be printed at relatively low temperatures, which greatly reduces the deformation of the finished products. They also have excellent gloss, high quality colour, and no chemical odor is released during printing.

This print string is fully compatible with da Vinci 2.0A Duo and da Vinci 1.0 AiO printers

Polymerised lactic acid

PLA fibres are made from polymerized lactic acid that is obtained from corn, sugarcane or other sugar-containing crops and is considered the most environmentally friendly 3D printing material. Unwanted printed PLA objects can simply be buried in the soil where it naturally decomposes. In addition, this material allows low-temperature printing, which greatly reduces the possibility of deformation of the printed item.
