Worms Clan Wars

The PC game Worms Clan Wars expands the popular series with team-based clan battles. The title combines action, strategy, and racing genres with classic turn-based mechanics. You can create your own team, design an emblem for it, and compete against others in online leagues. The game also offers a sophisticated single-player campaign full of physics-based puzzles. Your arsenal will include 65 weapons and 10 new items, which you can use in five different historical environments.

Create Your Own Clan and Dominate the Leaderboards

At the core of the game is the clan system, which allows you to start your own team. You can name your clan, create a unique emblem for it, and promote your teammates to leaders or officers. You can then participate in the league battle to secure a spot at the top of the online leaderboards. The integrated WormNET system serves as a game lobby and chat platform for communicating with friends and foes. A complementary mobile web app for iOS and Android systems is also available.

Story Mode and Game World

In addition to multiplayer, Worms Clan Wars also offers a sophisticated single-player story mode. The campaign will guide you through a series of missions filled with various physics-based puzzles and contraptions. You will have to traverse swinging rope bridges and rescue your worm friends from deadly traps. The game takes place in five distinct environments that will take you among the Incas, Vikings, into feudal Japan, the Industrial Revolution, or prehistory. The graphics use 3D elements and new lighting effects, but the gameplay remains faithful to the classic 2D concept.

Expanded Arsenal and Worm Customisation

The game features the largest arsenal in the series to date. A total of 65 weapons and tools are at your disposal, including ten brand new items. Also new are the four improved worm classes, each with special abilities that change the strategic options in battle. Thanks to full integration with the Steam Workshop, you can also customise your worm warriors to your liking. This allows you to create and share your own hats, accessories, and other cosmetic items with the entire community.
