This unique hexacopter developed by students of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology has six propellers and rotors that allow the drone to fly at any angle in a 360° range. Simply put, Voliro drones can be tilted to fly at any angle imaginable.
Its primary use is for exploration, service, or maintenance purposes. Its biggest advantage is that thanks to the 360?° flying angle, it can fit into the gap between roofs and buildings where the normal width-oriented drones would not fit. So far, however, the Voliro Drone has only been introduced as a prototype and is yet to be launched.
