Battery Protection The BatteryProtect will disconnect the battery from insignificant loads before the battery is completely discharged (causing it to be destroyed) or until it has enough capacity to start the engine.
12 / 24V Auto Adjustment - Battery Protection BatteryProtect automatically detects system voltage.
Simply programmable - The BatteryProtect protection can be set to be plugged in / out at several different voltage levels.
Special settings for Li-ion battery - In this mode, BatteryProtect protection can be controlled via VE.Bus BMS.
Very low power consumption - Low power consumption is very important for Li-ion batteries, especially after low voltage shutdown.
Overvoltage protection - In case of overvoltage resulting in possible damage to sensitive devices, the devices are disconnected if the DC voltage exceeds 16V or 32V.
Spark Resistant - Does not work with relay elements but with MOSFETs, no sparking occurs.
Delayed alarm output - The alarm output is activated when the battery voltage drops below the set value for more than 12 seconds. Starting the engine does not activate the alarm. The alarm output is an open collector output to the negative bus, max. current 50 mA. Typically, the alarm output is connected to a buzzer or light signal.
Delayed Load Disconnection - The load is disconnected 90 seconds after the alarm has been triggered. If during this time the battery voltage rises to the "connection threshold" level (e.g. during starting the engine), the load will not be disconnected.
