VHT Flameproof refractory colour red

Spray colour VHT Flameproof red is a refractory paint that renews and prolongs the life of surfaces that are exposed to high temperatures. It is most commonly used in the automotive industry to paint a block or engine head, exhaust ducts and other parts exposed to temperatures up to 1093°C. Spray colour is also used in the aviation industry. It is a matt colour that has a temperature resistance of up to 704-1093°C.

Colour cure on vehicle:

• The paint must be completely dried prior to curing
• Let the engine idle for 10 minutes
• Turn off the engine and allow it to cool for 20 minutes
• Leave the engine idle for 20 minutes
• Turn off the engine and allow it to cool for 20 minutes
• Drive for 30 minutes in normal traffic

Color cure outside vehicle:

• The paint must be completely dried prior to curing
• Warm the surface to 121°C (250°F) for 30 minutes
• Allow to cool for 30 minutes
• Warm the surface to 204°C (400°F) for 30 minutes
• Allow to cool for 30 minutes
• Warm the surface to 343°C (650°F) for 30 minutes
