VHT Flameproof Flameproof Clear Coating

VHT Flameproof Header Paint is a refractory paint that renews and prolongs the life of surfaces that are exposed to high temperatures. It is most commonly used in the automotive industry to paint machinery like engine heads, exhaust ducts and other parts exposed to temperatures up to 1093°C. It is also used in the aviation industry. It is a matt colour that has a temperature resistance up to 704-1093°C.

On the Vehicle:

• the paint must be completely dried prior to using vehicle
• let the engine idle for 10min
• turn off the engine and allow it to cool for 20min
• let the engine idle for 20min
• turn off the engine and allow it to cool for 20min
• drive for 30min in normal traffic

Outside the Vehicle:

• the paint must be completely dried prior to using vehicle
• heat the surface to 121°C for 30min
• allow to cool for 30min
• heat the surface to 204°C for 30min
• allow to cool for 30min
• heat the surface to 343°C for 30min
