A cutting-edge, affordable tripod which features a 2-axis fluidised-motion video unit that provides smooth movement when shooting motion pictures. The Videomate product line is the direct successor to the popular range of C-400, 500 and 600 tripods.
Compared to the previous series, the new tripods have a higher maximum length and are characterised by a completely new square foot profile that guarantees much greater stability. Lightweight aluminium has been used in its production, in combination with high-quality hardened plastic components. Sturdy and high-quality construction is an ideal prerequisite for high durability and reliability over the tripods entire lifetime.

For professional use

The centre rod moves smoothly and precisely through the toothed gear and the crank. The tripod also includes a built-in spirit level to provide the most accurate position. Overall stability is enhanced with radial struts between the legs and the centre rod. Easy and quick clamping or loosening of the camera is guaranteed by the quick-release mechanism of the single-lever fluid head. The quick-release plate has a 1/4" clamping screw and an anti-slip cork surface.
The PH-248 tripod head has adjustable feed stiffness in both axes with the permitted locking screws. The tripod is shipped with a shoulder strap carry case.
