It is designed for quick changes, making it ideal as a spare battery for educational, testing, and demonstration scenarios where you need to reduce downtime between runs. The Unitree R1 robot typically operates for approximately 1 hour on a single battery, and with a spare battery, operation can be seamlessly extended by swapping it out. The integrated BMS ensures charging and discharging management and includes protection against overcharging, deep discharge, short circuits, and overloads. It also features cell balancing, a state of charge indicator, and a storage mode with automatic self-discharge.
