Haptic feedback for working with contact
The multi-touch tactile field on the palm, finger pads and fingertips provides detailed contact information. With a perception range of 10-2500 g, gripping, reloading and handling where pressure and slip matter can be addressed more stably.

Hybrid force and position control
Dex3-1 combines force and position control so you can work with both precise finger guidance and pressure control when handling. This is practical for teleoperation and learning grips where you want to repeatedly achieve the same result without damaging the object.

Natural grip thanks to 7 DoF
The 3/2/2 DoF layout allows the grip to be shaped like a human hand. Defined joint ranges support planning of finger trajectories and repetitive manipulation scenarios in laboratory and teaching environments.

Fast response and real-time streaming
A communication rate of 1000 Hz ensures a smooth response when touching and during dynamic movements. In addition to joint states, the Unitree Dex3-1 arm also returns pressure and temperature sensor readings and IMU data, which is useful for control loops, teleoperation and dataset collection.
