Unitree G1-D-U7
The Unitree G1-D-U6 is a mobile humanoid handling platform - combining two 7-axis robotic arms, a 2-axis waist, a height-adjustable column and a wheeled chassis for moving in space. The base of the robot has 19 DoF without end effector (7×2 arms, 2 waist, 1 column, 2 base) and the U7 variant adds three-fingered Dex3-1 arms without tactile feedback - a total of 33 DoF for mobile grasping.

Mobility and workspace
The G1-D in Flagship version uses a wheeled chassis with differential steering, so it can turn on the spot and move at speeds of up to 1.5 m/s. The height-adjustable column has a stroke of 450 mm and a maximum working height of approx. 2 m, which is practical for teleoperation and data collection at different heights of the working area.
Three-fingered hands Dex3-1
The U7 variant is equipped with three-finger force-controlled Dex3-1 arms without tactile feedback. Each arm has 7 DoF and is suitable for gripping and teaching coordination of both arms; RGB camera included.
Sensors for orientation, teleoperation and data acquisition
An HD binocular camera is available for visual tasks and a 2x wrist camera for close-ups during handling. The mobile chassis is complemented by LiDAR, a pair of depth cameras and a suite of sensors to detect contact and low-level obstacles, which aids in moving through the environment and approaching objects more safely.
Computing power and development
The computing base is a Jetson Orin NX 16 GB (100 TOPS) combined with an 8-core CPU. The platform supports secondary development and OTA updates, making it suitable for iterative development of control algorithms, teleoperation and data pipelines for learning from demonstrations.
Power and endurance
The Flagship version uses a combination of a 9 Ah top quick-release battery and a 30 Ah built-in chassis battery. The claimed endurance for the flagship variants is approximately 6 hours for the chassis and 2 hours for the upper, which is convenient for longer development tests and data collection without frequent recharging.
Areas of application
The platform is particularly suited for robotics research and development, human-robot interaction, the development of grasping and manipulation algorithms, and the creation of AI systems for perception and control.
