Adjustable force and speed for a secure grip
You can set the grip force in the range of 5-120 N and the jaw speed in the range of 50-375 mm/s. Thanks to this, the Unitree Dex1-1-V3 gripper's behaviour can be fine-tuned, ranging from finer manipulation to a firm grip when positioning and carrying objects.

Fast closing and precise positioning
The 90 mm stroke and the shortest full stroke closing time of 0.24 s support fast transitions between grip and release. The 0.1 mm tip positional resolution helps with repeatable object guidance and smaller parts.

Camera directly on the end effector
The combination of RGB and depth directly on the gripper simplifies teleoperation and more precise aiming of the jaws on the object. When collecting data for learning from demonstrations, you get a "hands-on" shot at the moment of contact and during the transfer, which is practical for training perception and control policies.

RS-485 control for smooth response
High-speed RS-485 communication at 6 Mbps and 1000 Hz control frequency are suitable for smooth real-time control. The included 485 → USB adapter facilitates connection during development and testing.
