Wireless transmission with WiFi 5 technology
The device operates in the 5GHz frequency band with support for 802.11ac, 802.11n, and 802.11a standards. The data transfer rate at this frequency is 400Mbps with a 40MHz channel width. Spatial streams run in a 2×2 MIMO configuration for efficient use of the radio spectrum. The channel width ranges from 20 to 40MHz depending on the specific network settings. Wireless security uses WPA2 AES encryption to protect transmitted data from unauthorised access.
High capacity
This access point can serve more than 50 Device Bridge Pro client stations simultaneously on a single network. The wireless connection works over a distance exceeding 5 kilometres with a clear line of sight between both points. The directional pattern with a 60° beamwidth focuses the signal in a specific direction and limits ambient interference. The transmit power is 25dBm, and the combined conducted power has the same value. Supported data rates start at 6.5Mbps.
Outdoor-ready construction
The access point's construction handles demanding outdoor conditions all year round. The UV-stable polycarbonate chassis resists the effects of the weather and meets the IP66 rating specification. The device can withstand a wind load of 128.2N at a speed of 200km/h. Operating temperatures ranging from -40 to 60°C are suitable for year-round deployment in various climates. The ambient operating humidity can range from 5 to 95% non-condensing.
Mounting and power
A single gigabit RJ45 Ethernet port connects the device to the local computer network. Power is supplied via an Ethernet cable using the 802.3af PoE standard within a voltage range of 42.5 to 57V DC. Power consumption does not exceed 6W under full system load. The package includes a mounting kit for a pole with a diameter of 24 to 60mm, and the device itself weighs 782g.
