Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
This access point uses the 802.11ac wireless standard for simultaneous operation in two frequency bands. In the 2.4GHz band, it operates at speeds of up to 300Mbps, while four spatial streams facilitate rapid handling of data requests. In the 5GHz band, the unit provides a transfer speed of up to 866.7Mbps. The device supports HT 20/40 and VHT 20/40/80 channel widths for optimal data transfer.
Mesh and coverage
The device supports advanced mesh technologies to create a unified wireless network with seamless roaming between access points. The unit covers an area of up to 115m² with a stable signal. Over 200 active users can connect to the network simultaneously without any drop in performance. You manage the entire system via the UniFi Network application, version 7.5.187 or newer.
Security features
Data is protected using modern encryption protocols and advanced network filters. The access point features an integrated firewall and supports guest isolation as well as individual client device isolation to prevent unauthorised access. Supported security standards include WPA2, WPA-PSK and WPA-Enterprise encryption.
Connectors
The device includes one 1Gbps Ethernet port for a wired network connection. It is powered via the active PoE 802.3af standard, with a supported voltage of 44 to 57V DC and consumption up to 8W. Two RP-SMA connectors are provided for connecting external antennas, complemented by one internal antenna.
