Ubiquiti AirMAX RocketDish LW
The Ubiquiti AirMAX RocketDish WiFi antenna is an outdoor parabolic antenna for directional signal transmission in the 5GHz band. This directional antenna with dual polarisation has a gain of 30dBi and operates in the 5.1 to 5.9GHz frequency range. The design with an extended depth parabolic reflector suppresses noise interference during concurrent installations on a single mast. The outdoor IP65-rated design withstands adverse weather conditions and wind loads of up to 790N at wind speeds of 200km/h.
Key features of the Ubiquiti AirMAX RocketDish LW WiFi antenna
- Antenna gain of 30dBi
- Operates in the 5GHz frequency band
- Withstands winds of up to 200km/h
- IP65-rated body
- 30° beamwidth
- Reflector depth suppresses ambient noise
- Uses dual polarisation
Directional parameters and frequency band
The antenna operates in the 5.1 to 5.9GHz frequency range with a 30° beamwidth in directional mode. The dual linear polarisation and Cross-pol isolation parameter from 35dB contribute to the stability of long-distance wireless links. The front-to-back ratio (F/B Ratio) is 30dB with a standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 1.6:1.
Compatibility and power
This device fully complies with the European specification ETSI EN 302 326 DN2 and meets the requirements of the NDAA standard. Two RP-SMA connectors are used to connect to active elements. The system uses the 802.3af PoE standard for power via a connected compatible unit, such as the Wave-MLO5, RP-5AC-Gen2 or R5AC-LITE.
