The Ubiquiti AirFiber Pt WiFi antenna serves as an outdoor directional device for long-distance data transfers in the 5GHz band. The device operates with a gain of 34dBi and uses dual polarisation to increase throughput over long distances. The construction withstands wind gusts of up to 200km/h and shows high stability in demanding outdoor conditions. Vertical and horizontal wind forces act on the 13.5kg body without deforming the geometry of the reflective surface. The directional design with a narrow beam focuses the radiated power in one direction and eliminates surrounding interference.

Operation
The device complies with the ETSI EN 302 326 DN2 standard and is compatible with Wave-MLO5, RP-5AC-Gen2, or AF-5XHD systems. Dual linear polarisation helps to increase the total transfer speed above 501Mb/s. The signal is transmitted in the 5.1 to 5.8GHz frequency range using two RP-SMA connectors.

The IP65 rating protects the internal components from water and dust ingress during year-round outdoor operation. The manufacturer supplies components in compliance with NDAA security standards for secure deployment.
