Chip lasts up to one year

The TrackR Pixel also works another way - in the case of cell phone loss. Just press the button on the sensor and the phone will immediately ring, even when in silent mode. The range of the sensor is up to 33m. It may happen that the item you are searching for is out of reach of Bluetooth. The application is ready and will show you the last known chip location on the map. It will also show you whether you are moving away from or moving closer to the chip. Inside the chip is a removable CR2016 battery that can power it for up to one year. The mobile app will inform you of remaining battery capacity.

You can also set a limit distance in the app which means that if the distance (between the phone and the sensor) is reached, you will be notified by mobile phone display. You will no longer leave home without your keys or wallet. This practical feature can also watch your dog if you place the TrackR Pixel on its collar. You can easily share your sensors with your friends, family or any other users. 
Although the Bluetooth feature might seem limited due to its reach, thanks to registration in Crowd Locate Network, you can extend the reach of the chip almost all over the world. Every registered user runs in the background of an application that registers the unique ID of each chip nearby and sends it to the cloud. Then the GPS position of the chip is sent directly to the TrackR Pixel owner.
