The TrackR Pixel chip also works the other way around - in case of the loss of a cell phone. Just press the button on the sensor and the phone will immediately ring, even when in silent mode. The range of the sensor is up to 33m. If the item you are looking for is out of the Bluetooth range, the application will show you the last known location on a map. It will also show you whether you are moving away from or towards the location. The chip holds a removable CR2016 battery that can power it for up to one year. The remaining battery capacity is displayed in the mobile app.

You can set a distance limit in the app, which means that if that distance is reached (between the phone and the sensor), there is an immediate audio and visual notification on the connected mobile phone. You will no longer leave home without your keys or wallet. This practical feature can also track your dog if you place the TrackR Pixel on its collar. You can easily share your sensors with your friends, family or any other user.
Although the Bluetooth feature might seem limited due to its range, your chip is registered in the Crowd Locate Network, which extends the reach of the chip almost all over the world. Every registered user runs an application in the background that makes note of the unique ID of each chip nearby and sends it to the cloud. Then the GPS position of the chip is sent directly to the owner of the TrackR Pixel.
