The L2 TP-LINK Gigabit Switch Controller The JetStream TL-SG3210 provides 8 10/100/1 000 Mbit / s ports. It is also equipped with 2 gigabit SFP slots that extend the flexibility of the network. The TL-SG3210 is an affordable networking solution for small and medium-sized businesses. It offers robust security and management features.
The switch offers IP-MAC-Port-VID bindings, port security, network congestion protection, and DHCP Snooping that protects against network congestion by broadcasting, ARP attacks, and so on. It contains security against some typical DoS attacks. The switch supports 802.1x authentication that is used with RADIUS to require certain authentication data before network access is allowed. Guest VLAN allows non-802.1X clients to access certain network resources.
The TL-SG3210 Switch supports a full range of Layer 2 features. 2, including 802.1Q Tag VLAN, port isolation, port mirroring, STP / RSTP / MSTP, line aggregation control protocol and 802.3x flow control. The switch also offers advanced network management features. E.g. loop detection, cable diagnostics and IGMP Snooping. The IGMP Snooping feature ensures that the switch intelligently transmits multicast streaming to only the subscribers, while IGMP Throttling & Filtering restricts each subscriber to port level to prevent unauthorized access to the multicast stream.
