TP-Link RE660X AX1800 Wi-Fi 6

TP-Link RE660X AX1800 Wi-Fi 6
The TP-Link RE6 WiFi extender expands the range of your existing wireless network and eliminates signal dead zones in your home or office. Weighing 0.25kg, this device receives the signal from your router and broadcasts it to areas the original signal can't reach. It comes in a white colour and integrates two internal antennas to propagate the signal. It operates on two frequency bands, which contributes to stable network performance without dropouts. The device requires a power supply of 100-240V at a frequency of 50/60Hz, and its maximum power consumption is 10W.
Key features of the TP-Link RE660X AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 WiFi extender
- Operates on two frequency bands: 2.4GHz and 5GHz
- One gigabit LAN port for a stable wired connection
- Two internal antennas broadcast the signal to the surrounding area
- WPA and WPA2-PSK encryption protects transmitted data from misuse
Wi-Fi 6 technology
This device supports modern 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax standards, which increase the overall capacity and efficiency of the wireless network under heavy traffic. The device handles communication with multiple connected devices simultaneously without a drop in speed and supports IEEE 802.11a/n/ac/ax standards for the 5GHz band and IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ax for the 2.4GHz band. The dual-band operation achieves a total speed of up to 1.8Gb/s when using both bands simultaneously, which simplifies operation in households with a large number of active wireless devices.
EasyMesh compatibility
The device supports EasyMesh technology, which lets you create a unified network with a single name and password throughout the entire property. As you move around the house, client devices automatically connect to the strongest available signal source. The Smart Roaming feature prevents connection dropouts when moving between rooms. The system works with routers that support TP-Link OneMesh technology and allows for flexible coverage expansion without needing to change the configuration of end devices.
Gigabit wired connection
The integrated RJ-45 Ethernet port supports a transfer speed of 1Gbit/s for a stable wired connection in the room. The port is used to connect devices without a wireless module, such as desktop computers, gaming consoles, or smart TVs. The high-throughput physical port reduces latency during data transfer and provides a reliable interface for the most data-intensive applications. There is exactly one of these gigabit Ethernet ports available on the underside of the device's chassis.
Access point mode
This device functions not only as an extender but also as a standalone access point. After plugging an Ethernet cable into the port, you can create a new wireless network in locations with existing cable wiring. This operating mode expands the possibilities for integration into existing network infrastructure in buildings. The device supports up to two SSIDs and has an Access Control feature for managing network access, along with security via WPA and WPA2-PSK encryption. The integrated LED control enables you to set a night mode to turn off the indicator lights at a specified time, preventing light disturbance in the dark. The device is also fully IPv6 Ready for future compatibility.
