Terra Mystica is a unique tactical board game that takes you to the fantasy world. In this game the impact of coincidence is minimal, all depends on the tactical and strategic skills of the players.
Each player leads one of 14 different nations on the road to prosperity. Individual nations are bound to a particular type of landscape, and then they can build individual buildings and entire cities. You can meet people fromdeserts, plains, swamps, lakes, forests or mountains. During your journey you will meet half-masons, alchemists, dwarves, giants, magicians and other legendary figures.
The proximity of other people in the country limits the development of your nation on one hand, but on the other hand business relations with neighbors can bring some benefits. Your task is to build, gain resources, but above all to develop the uniqueskills of your nation. The player who used the unique abilities of his nation the most will win. 
Terra Mystica won the second best prize at the Essen Festival of Games.
