The sightseeing tour starts now - it's time to hit the streets of Paper Town. Take a ride through a legendary place that never stops. But you're in for a challenge, because the curves appear out of the blue and the tourist attractions change their location from one day to the next. The holidays are the perfect time to show what you've got. Get all your passengers to the right places over the next 12 days - and you might just become the official drivers of the scenic drive. The game has a gradually increasing difficulty, so it doesn't get tired even after several games, and it keeps bringing new challenges and unexpected situations.

What the game is about
In the board game Sightseeing Ride, you'll drive a tourist bus together as you navigate the streets of Paper Town. Your main task is to plan the route correctly so that the bus picks up passengers and drops them off at the appropriate tourist attractions. Every day you face different challenges and conditions, so no game will be the same. The game is divided into 12 days, which are grouped into 4 levels. You start with the first level with easier challenges and gradually work your way up to more difficult tasks. This makes the game exciting and constantly brings new situations. Once you've completed all the days, you can start creating your own challenges and playing by your own rules, which adds an extra life and creative element to the game. The game also offers a solo mode, so you can have fun on your own while still enjoying a full experience. The ability to create your own days and levels extends replayability and gives room for your imagination and personal play style.
The basis of the game
The basis of the game is to place the route pieces that determine where the bus moves. Each piece has a different turn or straight shape, and players must decide together how to arrange them to avoid dead ends while still allowing the bus to pick up passengers - collaborative planning encourages communication between players and fosters teamwork. In the next step, you choose where to let them off - the wrong choice can jeopardise the completion of the day's task. The game thus combines spatial imagination, planning and team communication, as you are all jointly responsible for the success of the whole ride. The short game time allows you to play several games in a row or just a quick game without having to prepare complex components.
History of the game and its creators
Sightseeing Ride was first introduced in 2023 and quickly gained attention among family games with an original cooperative concept. It was localised into Czech and Slovak in 2025. The authors of the game are French game designer David Cicurel and Samuel W. Bailey, an American game designer who has worked on other successful projects. The visuals are by Vincent Dutrait, a French illustrator with an unmistakable style. The publisher of the game is Blue Orange, which is known worldwide for its family and children's titles.
