The Krick Alert customs sailing ship kit is designed for advanced ship modelers. All-wooden building with many metal accessories, includes castings such as cannons, oars, anchors, detailed plan and instructions. The fast cutter Alert was sailing along the coast of the United States in pursuit of smugglers. For this reason, it was also fitted with large sails and a wedge-shaped deep keel to achieve the highest possible speed. Amidships, the deck has a swivel cannon with all the equipment that nicely completes the atmosphere on board the ship. The model has a relatively simple construction, but it contains a lot of interesting details, thanks to which you can turn the model ship into a real museum exhibit. The plan and building instructions are very detailed, so even a modeler who has not had the opportunity to build historic ships can start building. For anyone who finds building fun, who has manual dexterity and patience, the model will surely satisfy and guarantee successful completion. The frame, keel and other components are laser cut in this kit. The kit has parts of excellent quality and e.g. the lining can be easily bent. The fitting set contains many finished parts.

Recommended equipment for building the model
To simplify the construction and get a perfect result, it is advisable to buy a set of ready-made pre-sewn sails for this model. It is recommended to buy tools, glue and paint for the construction. We recommend the Modelcraft Ship Modeler Tool Set (12 piece set) or the Modelcraft Modeler Tool Set (18 piece set). It is also recommended to purchase nylon clamps and indispensable modeling pins. For finishing, precision cutting, gluing of parts and also as a protection of the table it is recommended to use a modelling mat. For bonding, universal dispersion adhesive and Robitronic medium instant adhesive (20 ml) are recommended. For painting acrylic enamel paints. The paints are applied with quality brushes - flat brushes for larger areas and round brushes for details.

Wooden parts of the model made of plywood, a set of mouldings, small parts enclosed in a plastic transparent blister, a set of drawings and a manual. The stylish box with a photo of the finished model is carefully, tastefully and graphically designed and contains the name, technical data and scale of the model.
Recommended minimum equipment for a ship modeler:
