Canasta - a game that brings family and friends together

Canasta is usually played with two decks of cards, which contain cards with values from 2 to 10, J, K, A, Q in four suits and two jokers. Players try to get as many canasta, groups of seven cards of the same rank, as possible. Up to three cards can be replaced by wild cards, which are jokers and deuces. Each person draws a card from the deck, lays it out and puts it in the discard pile. The game ends when one of the players gets rid of all the cards and then the total score is added up. You can also play other games with the cards, such as jokers or blackjack.
