The new TomTom GPS Runner 3 Cardio L, featured here in black and green, provides you with an accurate measurement of your sporting performance and also the ability to measure your heart rate.

By acquiring one of these sports watches, along with its large 144 x 168-pixel display, you'll get a whole host of features which includes real-time running data and route tracking. The size of the strap is 145-206mm. This watch is designed not only for running, but also for a range of other sports.

Endurance and communication

These watches use advanced Bluetooth technology to transfer data to your PC. The information on the watch is transferred to either TomTom MySports or one of your favourite running apps where you can instantly track your progress. Control of the watch is by simple means of a single button.

Due to its thin construction, it's very light. In normal operation, the watch lasts for about 3 weeks. If you turn on GPS, you can enjoy up to 11 hours operation from a full charge. Do you want to track your position and heart rate at the same time? Then you'll be provided with up to 9 hours of continuous operation!

Smart training

You can choose from several sporting activities and modes, such as running, cycling, swimming, gym, free style or treadmill. Practice with interval training to improve your speed and fitness. Or choose racing mode and try to beat your previous performance.

You can even set up your daily or weekly goals and share it with your friends on social networking sites. For best performance, an integrated heart rate monitor or automatic sleep monitor will be useful.

With this feature you will be able to precisely adjust the intensity, pace, distance, duration and number of sets. Add as many segments as you need to create exercises tailored for your needs. You have over 50 unique running and cycling exercises, all within your watch.

Fitness age

This feature on your TomTom watch can tell you what you are doing and how you can improve by measuring and then comparing your VO2max to the global average for your age group. During training, you get fitness pointers and, by monitoring your physiology, you'll find out what type or training is best for you.
