The Teltonika RUT260 Cat 6 LTE WiFi router functions as a fixed indoor router with support for the 4G LTE Cat 6 mobile network and the WiFi 4 wireless standard. The indoor router uses the automatic WAN failover backup connection feature. The device transfers data at speeds of up to 300Mb/s on the mobile network and 100Mb/s on the wireless network. Network data security is handled by the integrated firewall and support for encrypted VPN tunnels. The hardware is based on 128MB of RAM and 16MB of flash memory. The system supports the industrial communication protocols MQTT, SNMP, and Modbus.

Mobile network and connectivity
The wireless part operates on the WiFi 4 standard with a transfer speed of up to 100Mb/s. The Teltonika RUT260 WiFi router supports carrier aggregation to increase mobile download speeds to up to 300Mb/s. It automatically switches to a backup connection in case the main connection fails. The physical interface includes two 10/100Mb/s Ethernet ports that function as LAN and WAN. The device also offers digital input and output ports for connecting external sensors. The Mini SIM card slot is complemented by detachable antennas with connectors.
