The inclusion of a high-speed switching power supply guarantees a consistently stable power capacity with minimal noise and hum. High-rigidity, vibration-damping two-layer platter
The platter's sophisticated design ensures excellent sound quality by combining a two-layer construction with strategic damping rubber. Through simulation optimisation, the die-cast aluminium sections have been enhanced to increase inertia and minimise vibrations, resulting in better overall performance. Durability is further increased by adding reinforcing ribs on the rear surface. The SL-1200GR2 guarantees high rigidity by using a two-layer body construction that firmly joins the BMC and die-cast aluminium chassis. The turntable uses gold-plated phono connectors for its detachable cables. A metal shielding structure inside the turntable body reduces the effects of external noise. For the silicone insulators supporting the system's body, the SL-1200GR2 model uses a special silicone rubber that ensures high vibration damping and long-term reliability.
